Is alcohol permitted on the festival grounds?
The ‘Chi Shanty Music Festival is a family-friendly, alcohol-free event during the day, and a big party by night! Alcohol is only permitted at certain locations, stay tuned for stage announcements! Check out our Chi Shanty After Party at Timbership and Chi Breezy (Ritchie Wharf), Mike’s Bar & Grill, and O’Donaghue’s Irish Pub for great vibes, and local drink specials.
Is there seating available?
We recommend bringing your own lawn chair or blanket for comfortable viewing. There will be a limited number of picnic tables on site.
Will there be food and drinks available?
Yes. Food and drink vendors on sight all weekend. You’ll also find plenty of great local restaurants nearby in Miramichi!
Where is the festival located?
Miramichi, NB, Canada! Stay tuned for festival stage announcements!
Is there parking nearby?
Yes, there is parking available on site at each stage location. Please respect local residences and obey parking signs.
Are pets allowed?
Leashed and well-behaved pets are welcome in the outdoor festival areas. Please clean up after them.
Is the site wheelchair accessible?
The main festival grounds are mostly accessible, though some grassy or uneven areas may be more difficult to navigate. Barrier free washrooms and porta potties will also be on site at each location.
